Last week we were lucky enough to visit Old Saybrook Beach before summer rules are enforced (aka you need a pass to visit). I loved taking my pregnant belly and little girl to the beautiful beach. We were so happy the tide was low, the water cool, and the breeze blowing off the ocean was perfect.
Annabelle had so much fun exploring with my Mom, Noni, her Daddy, and me. We saw crabs, seagulls, shells, tiny fish, baby shrimp, and hermit crabs. We hope to come back again someday with Baby A, a blanket to sit on, and some snacks.
P.S. Low tide is the best time to visit the beach with a toddler. They can run and play for miles. Looking for more tips for the Beach with a Toddler? Check out this post!
New England beaches are so beautiful and peaceful. I forgot how much I love to visit them!
