Nursing a baby in public is quite the controversial topic these days. Some people are all pro-boob-in-public and others are, well, what you would call conservative. Or maybe normal, I don’t know. I am pro-boob. I mean, not whole boob out for the world to see, but if I have something covering myself, why shouldn’t I be able to nurse my baby in the waiting room at the doctors office?
Marie Nohr makes the most adorable nursing ponchos I have ever seen. They are comfortable, trendy, and look so normal that you can wear one as a shirt over a long tank top. I was so lucky to be able to review one of Marie Nohr’s nursing ponchos recently. Seeing that we have had a lot of visitors since Annabelle was born, and that a newborn likes to nurse every 2-3 hours, I needed something to cover myself up when guests were around – especially my Dad! My Marie Nohr poncho sure does the trick – it conceals my lady lumps so I can give the little one what she wants. The poncho also looks adorable as a regular top, so I continue wearing it when I am done nursing.
One of the bonuses about Marie Nohr’s nursing ponchos is that they can always be worn as a maternity top. I wore mine during my pregnancy and loved how it draped perfectly over my growing belly. This poncho could even be worn by a non-pregnant gal! It is so cute and fashionable that I know it’ll be a staple in my closet for years to come.
