This is the second edition of Loving Lately for February 2025. Happy almost Valentine’s Day.

Loving Lately – February 2025
It’s February, it’s cold, and I am living in the scruffiest snuggie you have ever seen. My friend Kelly bought me a Comfy after back to back cases of Mastitis postpartum with Arbor, but my cat thought it was his new blanket. He picked it over so much it looks like it’s falling apart, but I wear it anyways because it’s the warmest.
I am also loving these sock slippers Brandon bought me for Christmas. I haven’t been able to wear house shoes for quite some time as the flat sole messes up my back so I like a thick pair of socks to keep my feet warm.
Other random things I’m loving (seen below): the best vegan nacho dip (tastes like Taco Bell) Ailey’s homemade Ninja Turtle birthday card, perfect snowflakes, the BEST homeopathic flu medicine , toddler Valentine’s Day craft time.

Loving Lately – Just 4 Moms
How could I not mention our new podcast in a Loving Lately post? We are having the best time recording episodes for the Just 4 Moms Podcast every week. To make things very official, we set up our own branding photoshoot last week at an Airbnb. It was the best collaborative hangout I’ve ever had with a killer playlist, lots of laughter, snacks, a little champagne. Oh and dancing. There was definitely some dancing.

You can listen to or watch all of our episodes here. If you are loving the Just 4 Moms Podcast, don’t forget to leave a review and follow us on social for lots of funny videos and behind the scenes.
Books I’m Loving Lately – February 2025
Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros – Life slowed down from the moment I picked up Onyx Storm on its’ release day. I could not stop reading the third book in her series – it was SO good, but that ending? I can’t believe we have to wait years to find out what happened.
Quicksilver by Callie Hart – I’m only halfway through but it’s a slow listen. It’s not just another fairy/dragon/smut romance – this book is a little less magic and keeps you reading because you keep asking so many questions.
Good Girl, Bad Blood (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, #2) by Holly Jackson – I loved this tv series, so I started the book right after Onyx Storm as a palette cleanser. It’s a very intriguing story with a missing person, but I had to return it to the library. Unfortunately I’m on a long wait list to get it back now.
What I’m Watching in February 2025
I told myself I would pick up a book before I sat down to watch any more television this month. However I had quite a few hours to fill with something while a sick toddler slept on my chest.
- Paradise (Hulu) – I love when I start a series because I hear it’s good without knowing anything about it. There is something to be said when it comes to the intense feelings of surprise and shock one feels while watching a show like this. Just watch it!
- Fallen (Sundance/Prime) – Fallen angels, romance, YA, magic – I am here for it. The movie and tv adaptations are based on a fantasy book series by Lauren Kate. The movie was OK (terrible acting) but left you hanging and a sequel was never made. The t.v. series has 8 episodes and only 2 have been released – so far I like it and hope for a second season!
- Apple Cider Vinegar (Netflix) – Gosh this was disturbing! Have you heard of the Australian woman influencer who faked brain cancer and created a multimillion dollar recipe app? This show makes me question everyone and everything more than I ever have.
