Happy Happy Friday my friends! I was so excited that the week was over that I woke up at 5am this morning. Then I attempted some Yoga, but my wrists hurt too bad when I am balancing on a thick rug in front of the tv. I really can’t wait to live somewhere with hardwood floors. I hate wall to wall carpeting.
I can’t wait until work is over because these beautiful people will be arriving at my apartment around 6pm. .
My sister L and her boyfriend Ryan (how cute is it that they match??)
On our agenda: PREAKNESS TOMORROW
That’s it though – the rest of the weekend has not been planned out.
Thanks to everyone for offering to help with my bloggy next month!
Once I have a definite schedule I’ll contact you with more details.
I thought I should explain a little about what I am doing this summer that is going to keep me so busy. As some of you may already know, I was accepted into a teaching program in Maryland. For six weeks I will be attending a summer institute where I will get the training I need to be the best teacher EVER.
Also, upon completion of summer institute I will have a resident teaching certificate that shall allow me to teach at any elementary school in my program’s district.
*Hopefully* I will be Mrs. Bear in front of a third or fourth grade classroom by the end of August.
I am beyond thrilled to be a member of this program because it means I am a part of something great. My program is dedicated to providing students in low-income communities with top notch education and the opportunity for achieving academic success.
Random question for the day
Why do little boys like Taylor Swift so much?
Explanation for random question
Every time I am in the car with the boys that I nanny (once a neighbor the same age was with us too) and Taylor Swift starts singing, they become SILENT …entranced by her voice. Speechless and motionless by the sweet sounds of TayTay. I am not exaggerating… I have tested my theory that TaySwift can get kids quiet on more than one occasion.
Now it’s your turn to answer
What is it about Taylor Swift’s voice that is so magical?
P.S. I have nothing against TayTay. I loves her.

I hope you have a great time at the seminar and I hope that it will help you to get your dream job. I know you’ll be a great teacher. And I love the Taylor Swift story. I never knew about her super power to make boys quiet. I must try this on my nephew. Have a great weekend with your guests!
