Isn’t it funny how most blogs slow down in the summer while life picks up more quickly? That’s what is going on over here… slow blog but fast life. I’ve been so busy trying to soak up every free moment I have with my little family that I rarely have time to sit down at my computer. Last week I wrote a post about my struggles with swimwear.
UPDATE: I found a Mom-Approved suit at Lululemon. Granted the top looks a little like a sports bra and the bottoms are practically surf shorts, its comfortable, reversible, and I can chase Annabelle up and down the beach without worrying I’m gonna show someone my goodies.
We are headed to Destin on Thursday so I’ll be able to try it out. I am SO excited to see Annabelle on the beach now that she loves water. Last year she wasn’t really interested in the ocean… not in Florida or in Cape Cod… and she freaked out in the sand.
Everything about our beach trips this summer will be different than last year. From figuring out nap times to slathering our crazy toddler with sunscreen, I am sure I will have a nice blog post about our experiences. Our life lately is always changing and I love every second of it. I just don’t want to miss anything, so I am trying not to blink.
Overall Summary of our Life Lately June 2016
My little girl will be two in October and it is crazy just how different this summer is from last summer! Last summer we were just barely exploring the world and she was afraid to go off on her own. This summer I’m getting a daily workout just to keep her somewhat near me! We have yet to try traveling anywhere farther than a couple of hours yet. Just thinking about the effort that would entail makes me so tired! I have yet to find a bathing suit for this post-baby bod of mine that I actually feel comfortable in!
