Yesterday was quite possibly Annabelle’s most favorite day of the year so far. Her bestie brought her along to her ballet class!!! Of course we immediately enrolled and Annabelle will have her first dance recital this May. Bring on the tutus, buns, and ballet slippers!
My poor front door has looked so sad since I took down my Christmas wreath, so I picked up a wooden “H” from Kirklands and set it on top of the spring greens wreath I use during the warmer months. I am thinking I need to add a bow – burlap or striped – but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.
Thank you to everyone for advice on my mantle last week – I hit up Kirklands and Home Goods for some decor and voila! Valentine’s Day mantle done.
There are no words for Ailey and this face.
The transition from Rock N Play to Crib at night has been a big fat fail. Ailey has a cold and wants to sleep holding my hand if she is laying flat. So back to the RNP she has gone and when the cold disappears, I will try all over again. I am struggling to understand, though, why she sleeps so soundly in her crib during the day for naps but once night rolls around she isn’t having it. Any ideas why she does this?
Another face from Ailey and Annabelle looking exactly like her Daddy. The weather has been comfortable lately and we tried to take advantage of it on Monday!

Our girl used to do that at night! She’d start on her back, roll to her tummy, and get mad because she couldn’t roll back. Eventually, she started pulling her knees under her, sticking her little bum in the air, and sleeping on her belly. I bet once Ailey figures out how to get comfortable, and maybe how to roll back and forth, it’ll pass. Our “phase” lasted about 2 weeks!
Love the addition to your wreath! That’s a great idea. We have a big, green wreath on our big green door that could use a little something. And your mantle has inspired me 🙂

We have the opposite problem, she sleeps perfectly in her crib at night but put her in there during the day for a nap and she freaks out. Love the ballet picture ☺.
