After an amazing weekend with my Momma, Cousin S, and Mr. Bear, I had to take a little break from blogworld yesterday. Now I am back and ready to answer all of your questions!! Here is Part 1 (b/c blogger is a big floppy jerkface and deleted half of my answers…and I need to retype them!)
Kristen asked:
How did you and Mr. Bear meet?
Here’s the short version: On Spring Break during my Senior year of high school (2003), I went on a Carnival cruise with my sisters L & T and T’s dad. On the first night I saw this handsome southern lad walking on the Lido Deck towards the elevators. Before the man of my dreams could disappear, I ran over to him to find out his name. He said he was B from Tennessee. The next night I stalked Mr. Tennessee and seduced him with my freckles, curly hair, and witty remarks. Then I stole a kiss from him in the White Heat Disco. I think I fell in love with him the night he played with my hair for 2 hours in the empty showroom…

What is your dream job?
To own a restaurant located in an old historic cottage on the beach in Cape Cod where I could cook all of my favorite dishes for my customers. Weekly I would have guest chefs: my family and friends!
How many kids do you want to have?
Ideally, Mr. Bear and I want two little cubs- one boy and one girl. If I had twins (they run in our families) I’d be happy as a pig in mud. We’d try for three cubs though if the first two were the same sex.
Geezees asked:
What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Honestly, transferring to the University of Tennessee would probably have to be the craziest thing I have ever done… packing up all of my things, leaving all of my family and friends, and moving 900 miles south for a boy I had only been dating for a year and a half was nuts. Thank gosh I did it though… otherwise Mr. Tennessee wouldn’t be my hubsby today!
Heather asked:
Best wedding gift?
Having all of our family and friends in one place – for the first (and maybe only) time in our lives – to celebrate our marriage!
Worst wedding gift?
The flu… yah I had it for my entire wedding weekend.
Favorite part of being married?
Knowing I get to spend the rest of my life with my bestest friend in the whole wide world – and that he is mine all mine forever.
Emily asked:
What’s your favorite haircolor on yourself?
Ooo that is tricky b/c I have had a bajillion different hair colors since I was in 10th grade! I think it would have to be a mixture of blonde, brown, and red –> Auburn is the color I guess. With blonde highlights in the front of my hair.
What are your goals for 5 years from now?
In five years I hope to accomplish the following: Land an awesome elementary school teaching job, obtain a Masters in Education & Administration, buy a house w/ hubsby, have atleast one little beautiful cub.
Where do you think you and Mr. Bear will be in 10 years?
In terms of location – hopefully somewhere around here (MD) or in the North. I hope that we are healthy, happy, situated in a lovely home, financially stable, my student loans almost paid off, both working jobs that we love, and with two healthy little cubs running around the house.
How old are you?
24!!
sHp asked:
What is your favorite movie of all time?
It is a tie between Home Alone and The Santa Clause. I can watch both movies on repeat and never tire of them. Christmas is the happiest time of the year!
Kristi asked:
What has been your favorite city to live in so far?
I don’t know!! Right now I am L-O-V-ING Baltimore, but not the actual city we live in. I think that if we move to a different town next year (preferably one with a green grass center, its own shops & restaurants, and a huge park to run in) I will love it the most! For those of you that don’t know, I have lived in the following places (since I can remember): Meriden, CT; Wallingford, CT; Storrs, CT; Knoxville, TN; Gainesville, GA; Atlanta, GA; and now Elkridge, MD.
Stephanie Hartman asked:
What’s your favorite color?
GREEN
What do you like to do in your spare time??
COOK, exercise (yoga, run outside, dance), read cookbooks, go to the library, make up new recipes, watch crime shows & Gossip Girl, read children’s books to the boys I nanny, catch up on my google reader, blog, help my friends plan their weddings

I love your engagement pictures. How many locations and outfits did you have?
Thank you thank you! We had two locations and an outfit for each. The first location was the green grassy courtyard outside of Tommy Bahama’s Tropical Cafe in Destin, FL. I wore a green Banana Republic dress and pale pink Guess slingback peep toes. The second location was Crystal Beach in Destin, FL (where we had our ceremony). I wore a pink strapless dress from Lulus.com. Mr. Bear wore J.Crew pants, a J.Crew button-up, and a Banana Republic button-up.
Stay tuned for the rest of your questions answered tomorrow! In the meantime, if anyone new has something to say – ask away!
