I am a little sad that today marks our last day of Thanksgiving… especially since Wednesday evening we have been eating non-stop and spending QT with Mr. Bear’s families in Tennessee and Georgia. I am truly blessed with the most loving and amazing family a girl could ever marry into. I had the bestest time visiting with my new moms, dads, siblings, grandparents, etc., and shopping, watching Christmas movies, and cooking with my moms-in-laws. I can’t wait to go home with Mr. Bear in December to visit my family!
Here are some photos from our holiday break.
The Bears with Mr. and Mrs. R and my brother-in-law, Bryan
Me and Bryan’s gf, Noelle, she is such a sweetheart! She brought me a recipe for Provolone-Pancetta stuffed Chicken w/ Balsamic Sauce that I can’t wait to try!

Mother in Law H and I in front of one her FIVE Christmas trees!
The Bears in front of the big Christmas tree!
Right before Thanksgiving dinner #3… my brother in law is hiding behind the napkin!
Tonight when we get home I will definitely be a big bummed turkey. WHY?? When I have had such a great holiday vacation and week filled with good news?? Wellll….
1. Now that we are moving to BALTIMORE on January 2nd, and spending about 12 days of December traveling across the East Coast visiting our families, we cannot decorate our apartment to the fullest for Christmas. If you know anything about me, you know that Christmas is my favorite time of year and if I could keep a lighted tree in my living room year-round I would (it happened in 2006-2007, ask my bff/roomie Kara). So, the fact that our decorations consist of 3 snowmen, a reindeer, and maybe a pathetic little tree deeply saddens me. Maybe I will just dress in red and green every day and wear jingle bell earrings so I feel the Christmas spirit all around.
2. Tomorrow I have to return to work for my last 15 days in the office. I have made some amazing friends at my company in the past 1.5 years – people who I didn’t care to spend every weekday with for 8 hours. Now I am moving far far away from my friends and to a place where I don’t even have a job lined up!
Anyone in Balty hiring?
3. The Bears will be returning to less of my own big fancy homecooked meals and more boring mini-meals b/c cooking at home can be expensive! We will be saving every penny for our move to Balty and I am going to have to close my eyes every time I drive past Trader Joe’s for the next month.
4. I need to start going back to the gym. I don’t feel fat, I just feel mushy. I’ve always been muscular and my legs are looking a little wobbly.
I really won’t be depressed… but all that turkey and mashed potatoes has made me sleepy and cranky, haha. Hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving filled with memories – just like the Bears =0)

What a beautiful family! I’m glad that you had a great time. I know what you mean about not decorating. Just think… next year you’ll be able to deck it out! 🙂

You’re pictures are adorable and I love all the Christmas trees! I wish I had enough space (and extra dough) to deck my house like that! So beautiful!
Keeping you and your family in my prayers through this holiday season!
