I’m here to share how to survive a sick day when you’re a Mom. One of the first steps is to find an Urgent Care Center. Don’t wait to find out what is ailing you because the sooner you treat an illness the more quickly you’ll be back to your normal self.
How to Survive a Sick Day When You’re a Mom
It may seem impossible when you are a sick mom at home with kids. The truth is that Moms can manage sick days with these tips. Here is how to survive a sick day when you’re a Mom.
Step 1: Find a Doctor
When you’re a sick Mom you may not have the time to make a doctor’s appointment somewhere the same day you become sick. There are countless Urgent Care Centers you can visit in person or via teladoc appointment if you are not feeling well. Urgent Care always provides high-quality, convenient, and accessible healthcare, with extended hours that fit most schedules.
Step 2: Use a Drive Thru Pharmacy
Make sure your family uses a pharmacy with a drive thru window before you’re actually sick. Waiting in line for medicine when you’re feeling awful is the worst. If you have your kids home with you when you’re sick, the drive thru makes picking up your prescription so much easier.
Step 3: Stay Hydrated While Sick
Don’t forget to drink a lot of fluids when you’re not feeling well. If you have a fever, you’re more likely to become dehydrated and if you’re body is run down from lack of fluids, you won’t get better. Make sure you keep a large bottle of water by your side at all times. Hate plain water? Add lemon slices or fresh fruit to flavor your water. Eat popsicles, drink soup broth, sip Gatorade, or add electrolyte powder to your water.
