Despite the whole family feeling a little under the weather, we had a great Halloween in Connecticut in 2017. Read our Halloween recap and what we have planned for November.
Bright and early, Ailey and I started our day with a little Christmas is Coming playlist. Even though Halloween candy is sitting on the counter tempting me to eat it, and the costumes are still in a pile on the floor, it’s all good, because November is here. I’m a firm believer in extending the holiday season as long as possible since December seems to fly by too quickly, so why not start listening to my favorite music on the first day of November.
Halloween in Connecticut
Before October 31 is just a faded memory, I’d like to share a Halloween recap. Despite the whole family feeling a little under the weather with a yucky cold, we carved pumpkins, danced to “Ghostbusters,” and went trick-or-treating with the girls’ cousin Sloane. Annabelle earned herself more candy than she knows what to do with, so I’ll be helping eat it hiding a lot.

Plans for November
We have a lot to look forward to this month – from my sister’s 30th birthday to possibly maybe deciding on our forever home to planning Annabelle’s 4th birthday to a huge trip to Tennessee for Thanksgiving. I’m feeling blessed this morning as I look back on photos of a fantastic day and forward on a new month. Happy November!
