It has been a long time since I’ve shared my Friday Favorites – five months to be exact! Life is hectic with the addition of Arbor, but I promised myself I’d write down some things I am loving this week.
Spring Decorations
Spring is so close I can almost smell it – even though it snowed this week! I am slowly decorating our home for the new season, but it’s hard with a baby in tow! Fresh Eucalyptus is an easy way to add a little life to your home decor (dried Eucalyptus works well too!). I love to pick up a few bunches from Trader Joe’s that last me for months!
The Dollar Spot at Target has a nice faux plant and cute Bunny collection right now. We have a few moss, white ceramic, and even tiny wood bunnies from Target for our spring decor!
Dance Competition 2022 Season
Annabelle AND Ailey are both competing this year for their dance studio; I am SO excited to see them on stage this weekend! They are equally as pumped for the big competition, but Ailey is more nervous than Annabelle since it’s her first performance. I always hoped my daughters would love dance as much as I do – so here we go!
Helping Ukraine
There are plenty of ways to help the Humanitarian Crisis in Ukraine – and many people in my town are taking action themselves. Last week we donated over 8 bags of clothing/shoes to be sent to refugees. This weekend we will be gathering items for families arriving here from Ukraine to go to a Ukrainian Church. I’m also donating a portion of my affiliate sales at the end of this month to a charity. If you want to help Ukraine, here are more ways:
There are several Ukrainian charities working on the ground. Sunflower of Peace is a charity that helps paramedics and doctors, and has been fundraising for supplies, which includes first aid medical tactical backpacks.
United Help Ukraine focuses on providing medical supplies and humanitarian aid, and raising awareness of the conflict.
Voices of Children aims to help children affected by the war in eastern Ukraine, providing support through art therapy, psychologists, video storytelling and a number of other methods.
The British Red Cross has launched an emergency appeal to help Ukraine. The charity will be updating its webpage with news on the work its team is doing, and how support will be used to help people.

Dudley Stephens Jersey Collection
I am so excited the Dudley Stephens team sent over two pieces from their new Jersey Collection this week. Not only is the fabric as fabulous as their signature fleece, but it’s also PERFECT for a Mom on the go. I have the Madaket Tunic in both white and navy Eco Jersey material – it’s soft, lightweight, breathable and versatile!
