one. family of four.
How could my number one Friday Favorite not be my new little family of four? In case you missed it, I had a baby on Monday! We brought Ailey Leighton home from the hospital on Wednesday and so far we’ve been adjusting well.
two. big sister.
Her smile says it all. Annabelle is such a proud big sister and THRILLED her new best friend is finally home. It’s been difficult trying to explain to her why she can’t carry Ailey around the room like one of her baby dolls – but she is thankfully content snuggling up to her as well. { You can find her Big Sister Bump Mail here).
three. soothies for this Mom.
I am not quite sure how I lived through my first few days of postpartum after Annabelle without Lansinoh Soothies. Ailey has been a good little nurser so far, but I’m having a tough time adjusting to her powerful latch. After she feeds, I put on the soothies and ahhhhh, all is well. I need to order more since one pair is only good for 72 hours though!
four. my best friend.
My bff came to visit me in the hospital on Tuesday night and THANK GOODNESS FOR HER TIMING. Brandon had to run home with Annabelle and my Mom to figure out some stuff and while he was gone, Ailey may or may not have lost her mind. Only a fellow new Momma would be as calm and cool as Kim was.
five. organizers.
I have yet to decide on a diaper bag, so I ordered an organizer for my medium Longchamp off of Etsy. The reviews look pretty good – but one never can tell how something is until you get it. I chose the one above because it was inexpensive. I don’t know when it will be here since it’s coming from Thailand. Here’s to hoping that this organizing insert fits in my purse and works well!

Oh my goodness – how in the world did you have a baby on Monday and you were blogging on Friday. You Rock! Love the name – my niece is named Leighton!! Hope sweet Annabelle is enjoying being a big sister and hoping you are getting as much sleep as you possibly can.
