one. Star Wars.
Since I work at a Science Academy Private School, it should be no surprise that our lobby is decorated with Star Wars characters. The real surprise is when you hear our schedule bells ring… two times every hour to signal the end of one period and the beginning of another. Our bells are STAR WARS themed and the kids go nuts. They march down the hallway and swing imaginary light sabers at one another. It sure is something…
two. nothing is free anymore.
I spent a good 30 minutes trying to create a spectacular jib-jab starring me and my friends, only to discover that they now CHARGE you to send the e-card. Don’t you hate when cool free stuff suddenly becomes so famous they charge you?!
three. holiday family photos.
This year we are taking our family photos very late compared to the last few years. Why?? Well, I wanted to do photos at our house around our Christmas tree and there was no way we were buying a real tree in the middle of November. I am thinking our friends and family will get our Christmas cards around Christmas… or New Years.
four. Annabelle’s Second Birthday Party!!!
In just one week and a day we will be having Annabelle’s second birthday party at our house. The theme: Winter Woodland. This will be my first time every hosting such a large party with a real purpose and I am pretty nervous. However, I have SO many amazing Etsy shops who’ve collaborated with me for the party that I have a feeling it will be spectacular.

I love the Star Wars bells, how funny. Our Christmas cards will be arriving around New Years too since I’m cheap and waiting until we get back to the states to mail them.
