one. IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR.
It’s officially December… my most favorite month and the most wonderful time of the year. Who’s excited? I’m excited to kick off the holiday season with a little stroll through town tonight, a visit with Santa and Mrs. Clause tomorrow, and Annabelle’s 4th Birthday Par-TEA on Sunday. When Annabelle was born on December 13, 2013, she made an already incredible month better than we all thought imaginable.
I get a little bit of anxiety when everyone starts decorating for Christmas before me. We are living at my parents house right now and they wanted to wait until this weekend to pull out the decor… but everywhere I look, there are wreaths and trees and twinkly lights. I feel like we are behind on the Christmas spirit … thankfully we are picking out a tree tomorrow and making our own winter wonderland over here.
two. so much stinkin’ love for this guy (and the girl behind the camera)
Brandon and I took anniversary photos with my friend two weeks ago and I simply cannot pick one favorite from our shoot. Each photo is truly amazing and I feel capture us – our personalities, our relationship, our love. I’m sharing the photos little by little on Instagram, so keep your eyes peeled for more!
three. family tree pillow.
Last week I surprised my MIL with a family tree pillow from Blue Leaf Boutique for her birthday. I don’t think there could be a more perfect gift for a Nana with almost three grandchildren. The pillow is hand embroidered with love and care – ideal for anyone with a big family this holiday season.
four. the BEST planner ever.
I have a full blog post coming next week, but in the meantime I just have to say… I don’t know how I ever lived without this Plum Paper Planner. After months of being disorganized and missing appointments/deadlines, I finally have my ducks in a row. If you’re interested in 10% off of your order, let me know and I’ll send you over a coupon!
five. a unique gift for the holidays.
Are you looking for a unique gift for the holidays? Head to Sycamore Hill, an Etsy shop, to find the ORIGINAL Hand Stamped Vintage Spoons™ … My Eat, Drink, and Be Merry serving spoon is quite possibly the most adorable piece of kitchenware I’ve EVER owned. I’ll be posting a delicious recipe next week along with some more information about the awesome Etsy shop and my super cool spoon.

That planner looks amazing with so much that can be customized including start date and adding sections. I plan to buy one to start using in August. When you do your review can you cover how tall/high it is? My only worry is that it will be bulky to carry and stuff into my bag.
So happy I found your blog. I’m a northerner too ( CT).
