Today I’m sharing a letter to my daughter Annabelle. From 9 month milestones to your baby favorites, enjoy reading about our daughter at nine months old.
Our dear sweet Annabelle, how is that you are already 9 months old? It seems like you have always been in our lives, smiling, laughing, and making every day better than the rest. We can’t even remember life without you.
You are such an amazing baby girl. You absolutely love life. You like to explore and investigate everything you can get into. You can wave now – and say “Buh Buh Buh” – which we think is you saying, “Bye bye.” You can also make the “k” sound whenever you see a kitty (especially Mcmuffin), so you’re well on your way to saying “kitty” someday. You’re an expert crawler and stander. You can walk around the coffee table while holding on and even cross over to the couch. You are a fearless little one and your bumps, bruises, and scratches prove it. You are not afraid to do anything. You like to try new foods and have started reaching for Mommy and Daddy’s dinner. We’ve let you try chicken, Italian bread, homemade pumpkin muffins, and refried beans in the last week – you gobbled up every little bit that we put in front of you! You’ve been oh-so-sick for almost the entire month that you were 8 months old, ever since you started going to baby school. You’ve had ear infections, croup, and even threw up for the first time. We’ve been so worried about you! But the doctor says you’re okay.
This month we will take a trip to Connecticut so you can spend the night with your Noni, while Mommy and Daddy go to a wedding. We will visit your Nana and Pop and Great Grandma and Grandpa in Tennessee. We will also take a trip to the Smokey Mountains right before you turn 10 months old! Hopefully your 9th month of life will be filled with fun and excitement.
We love you to the moon and back, forever and always, our little Boochie La Ruskie Bellie Pie.
Love, Mommy and Daddy
