I love dressing my daughters in matching outfits. My Mom always dressed my sister and I alike, so it’s fun to do the same with my girls!
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery….
…at least that is what my Mom always told me when my sister wanted to dress and act like me growing up. She had us in matching outfits as children, but there came a time when I wanted to be my own person (and a brat). Since I am fully aware that my window for being able to do what I want to my girls won’t be open forever, I’ve been taking advantage of every opportunity I get. {Insert matching outfits here}
Now that Ailey is officially out of newborn clothes, I’m having so much fun finding ways to make the girls look more alike. Whether they’re in the same color pants or a similar style top, I make it work. I was super excited when Rosalie and Junie, an Etsy shop specializing in beautiful handmade bows, offered to send Annabelle and Ailey matching hair accessories.
Rosalie and Junie’s mustard linen hair bow and headband are perfect sister accessories for the fall. My daughters own so many different outfits that compliment the bows, so they will be wearing them a lot this season. I love how the bows are hand sewn and the linen fabric is very sturdy. The headband is comfy nylon and will stretch as Ailey’s head grows. Annabelle’s bow is attached to a fabric covered alligator clip so it doesn’t pull at her hair or slip out while she is playing.
The sister set includes the Mustard Junie and Rosalie Linen Bows. The Junie Bow is approximately 3.75″ x 2.75” and the Rosalie Bow is approximately 4″ x 2.5”. Both bows have the option of either our comfy nylon headband, which fits newborns to toddlers, or our super strong alligator clips which hold tight. The alligator clip can be easily reversed for a left or right-sided part.
