For Ailey’s watermelon themed first birthday, I found a watermelon high chair banner. For the grand smash cake moment, Ailey would need to be sitting in her high chair to avoid a massive mess. I was super excited to find an Eddie Bauer High Chair on the side of the road for FREE and wanted a watermelon banner to adorn the tray.
There is no cuter way to spruce up a high chair for a birthday party than with a banner that will match the birthday party theme. I found Little Maisie while perusing Etsy’s watermelon decor for Ailey’s birthday party. The One in a Melon Banner is no longer available online but I have found a few similar watermelon high chair banners. The hand-cut watermelon and red letters are sewn onto the natural colored burlap flags. The banner is so adorable and could be hung on a crate or large bucket for first birthday photos, or even in a bedroom.
