As I was trying to turn the key to open our apartment door last night, I heard the locks start switching and the door flew open. Standing there in front of me was this guy:
He was munching away on a Tagalong with the biggest grin on his face…
I was about to ask this Cookie Monster where he had gotten the Girl Scout cookies…when I noticed a Fed Ex box on the floor – ripped to shreds.
Note: My friend was supposed to send me Girl Scout cookies this week
Me: “Oh, it looks like my package from Friend arrived.”
Cookie Monster: “Really? I was wondering who sent these *munch munch munch*”
Me: “Since I didn’t know any little Girl Scouts, Friend was kind enough to send ME some cookies.”
Cookie Monster: “Wow that was nice! These are so good. I have been tearing into these cookies since I walked in the door. I don’t even know how many I’ve eaten.”
Me: “That’s just grrrreat. Thanks for not eating the whole box.”
QUESTION: If you came home to find a FedEx box sitting outside of your apartment – wouldn’t you look to see who it was from BEFORE you ate the contents?
**What if Satan had sent us poisonous cookies disguised as Tagalongs and Samoas as punishment (for laughing about something inappropriate – b/c that clearly sends a person to hell)????
Wouldn’t you check to see who the box was sent to before ripping into it?
**What if the cookie boxes held BOMBS meant for someone else? Or spiders?? – Cookie Monster you HATE spiders.
It’s a good thing I love you Mr. Bear….
Because if I didn’t, your big blue ass would be on it’s way back to Sesame Street.

My husband and father-in-law definitely killed most of our girl scout cookie stock. Luckily I have two nieces that sell girl scout cookies so if I need more I can get them.
But I am seriously considering finding a hiding place to stash my cookies so that they aren’t eaten before I get to enjoy them! 🙂
