Well, I have some bad news. Today will be my last Confessions link-up forever. I recently discovered a few blogs hosting something similiar (one even has the same name), so I feel that my link-up is no longer unique or fun. I am not in the market to try and compete with other bloggers. I hope you enjoyed my weekly link-up and do it one last time for fun!
I confess… my hubs and I are not moving to Georgia together….
My husband is packing up everything in our house this week, so he can move it all to a storage container in GA next Tuesday. He is staying down there to interview for jobs. I am packing a few bags of clothing, personal items, and Muffinhead to bring to my bff N’s house where I will be living while I finish out my school year. Then I will be moving down to GA sometime in June. Hello long-distance marriage!
I confess… I combined peanut butter, cookie butter, bustter, and jelly to taste a little bit of heaven.
Talk about a fatgirl’s dream: peanut butter, cookie butter, butter, and jelly all on a piece of toast. Mmmmm. Make that two pieces of toast and that’s what I ate before I went to bed. No wonder I was dreaming I was living an episode of “The Killing.”
I confess… I haven’t had a nightmare about the bombing in almost a week.
I confess… now that I know I am moving, everything in MD is annoying me.
I won’t be super specific, but let’s just say the driving, dirty city, and loud people are really getting on my nerves. I am dying to move to the suburbs in GA where I can drive with my windows down and not breath in a mouthful of cigarette smoke or the smell of urine (its everywhere).
I confess… Marjory the Trash Heap is living in my house.
We are giving away a ton of clothes – the “One Year Rule” is in effect and if it hasn’t been worn in a year, then adios!
I have enjoyed reading these posts! I hope the move goes well for y’all! I lived in Georgia for three years (after living in DC/Virginia/Maryland for four years) and LOVED it! 🙂 Hope it is the same experience for you!!
🙂 Rebecca
Aww… I’m sorry that you guys won’t be together for a while. 🙁 Georgia is waiting for you with open arms. I confess that I haven’t been to a lot of places, so maybe I don’t know any better, but I really love Georgia! I hope time goes quickly for you!
Maryland really isn’t that bad, I promise! Its beautiful state with lots to offer! I hope the move goes well for both of you!
Aw I’m so sad this is the last linkup! But I’m excited for you to move down this way so that we can meet!
Chin up. If B and I could live apart for 5 months, I am sure you will be able to do it for 2 months. It was really REALLY hard, though. Why do you think I bugged you for wine dates? Lol. Make sure you spend lots of time with friends and McMuffin. Can’t wait to live in the same state with you again!
I somehow totally missed that you were moving South. Why are yall moving (me being nosey)? 🙂 I confess that living in the South is THE BEST. 🙂 And you’ll be closer to Knoxville…if I remember correctly B is a fan? Go Vols 🙂
I will really miss Confessions! I enjoyed reading your weekly confessions and participating with mine. I am excited that you’re getting to move down south! I think the south is better, but since it’s all I know, I’m a little biased. I wish you the best of luck with everything you do!
You can send those clothes to me thanks…Not joking.
Aww, this was one of the first link-ups I ever joined :/ It will be missed
That’s sad you feel the need to cancel your link u because of that. But it’s understandable. GA is an awesome state. Where abouts will you guys be moving?
I’m glad you’ll be moving to fresher space! I live/work in Philadelphia and the urine really is everywhere.
Your Marjorie pic made me laugh.
I just tried cookie butter for the first time last week!
Wow I totally forgot about Marjory!! hahaha!!! Thanks for the laugh!
Small confession myself! Only because it kinda matches one of yours! My husband and I have been living apart since OCTOBER!! He got a promotion in another city, and I stayed behind while I finish out my job AND sell our house AND buy a house! But come June it will all finally end and I will be able to join him! 🙂 Good Luck, and congratulations on the move! 🙂
One year rule. That’s genius. We just did a clean out, it was arbitrary. Do I still like this? Does it still fit? How did I end up with 3 of these? But now I want to go back thru and see what I haven’t worn in the last year. I need something objective or I’ll try and rationalize some emotional reason why to hold onto stuff.
I wouldnt quit just b/c someone is doing the same thing. They saw your idea and liked it enough to do it their selves. Isnt that called setting a trend. Everyone basically copies everyone on blog. Or comes up with things they saw online. Like swaps and such. I’m sure it’s all been done before back in the day.
Ahh good luck on your move! What part of Georgia are you moving to?
Good luck on your move!!
Moving is always a pain but atleast you’ll enjoy your next home! 🙂
NO! 🙁 So sad you’re canceling this! I’ve been planning to link-up (I’ve been the worlds worst blogger lately) and I was just in the middle of writing my confession post for tomorrow.
