Every year we create a vacation menu for our trip to Cape Cod. Here is a sample of the dishes we love to make!
For the last five years I have spent countless hours coming up with an extensive menu for our family’s annual vacation in Cape Cod. My sisters, Mom, and I start the emails months in advance and converse all day long, making suggestions and adjustments to menus from the past. It’s funny how much I truly love this and look forward to typing up our weekly menu every year.
Our Cape Cod vacation menu is always an outline with options for dinner and never set for specific days.
We like to be a little flexible on vacation since one never knows if they will really feel like a lobster roll on Wednesday night instead of Thursday. We also have learned that certain theme nights are not fan favorites among the crowd. For example, last year we attempted a Mexican night that didn’t go over as well as planned. Therefore, this year if anyone is craving some guac or a burrito, they’re on their own!

Not at all weird. My husband makes fun of my family any time we are together- the instant I get together with them, we are plotting all our meals for the weekend. Sitting at breakfast talking about lunch and dinner. Food is just the best!
