When I got married, I wanted to put together a little survival kit for everyone in my bridal party for the wedding day. There were ten people in all: seven bridesmaids, two flower girls, and one maid of honor. I felt that a survival kit is a great kit for the wedding party because everyone is always frazzled on the wedding day and might forget some important items they need.
tissues, mints/gum, bobby pins, flip flops, lip gloss, granola bar, etc. – in a separate bag inside of their totes.
I got the idea from the blog 100 Layer Cake. She suggests: Aspirin, band-aids, spot remover, breath mints and tissues. And she included a cute little template to print out as a label to attach to cellophane bags filled with the goods. Check it out!
Groomsman survival kits would be good too – breath mints, stain remover, dental floss, bottle opener, Aspirin, sunglasses (if its an outdoor ceremony)…
I also like the idea of a ‘morning after’ survival kit for the adults of the wedding party… some things for them to have the morning after the wedding – some sort of pain reliever, water or Gatorade, a coupon for some sort of greasy breakfast food, an airplane bottle of liquor…. We will probably have a brunch with all of our guests the morning after the wedding anyways, but I think a little ‘morning after’ kit would be a great gift!

I would also maybe add a little sewing kit (the ones you can get from Target for $1) just in case there are any issues the day of. We had to sew one girl into her dress because her clasp was broken.
Awesome idea! The sewing kit is a must, I’ve seen plenty of dresses rip and need emergency stitching.
