Saturday was by far one of my most favorite days of this fall season as I was present for the Annual Reynolds Chili Sauce Event. Basically my parents, my Dad’s Aunt and his cousins all get together to make my Grandma Mary’s famous chili sauce. It is SO delicious and it can be eaten on practically anything (I just had a little bit on my eggs). However, the prep and cook time is literally hours – we used like 100 tomatoes – so it’s best made with a lot of people and alcohol.
Finally Home for the Annual Reynolds Chili Sauce Event

My sister and I whipped up a turkey sweet potato chili (which I need to post my actual recipe), buffalo cauliflower bites (which are amazing), and apple crumble (my Grandma’s secret recipe) for everyone to pick at while they waited for the goods to cook.
Favorite Photos from the Weekend

My sweet niece Sloane… somehow sleeping through a bunch of hootin and hollerin as we make the chili sauce.

I didn’t get any true family photos, mostly just snapped images of our chili sauce making process.
I do have a cute photo of the girls and me from Friday night though when we went out in town for pizza, ice cream and wine (just me of course).

On Sunday I spent the morning with my favorite photographer, Beth, shooting a few fall outfits on the gorgeous Choate Rosemary Hall campus. The weather was absolutely perfect and for a split second I felt like Rory Gilmore.

Before my photos I ran to Target to look for a dress. Have you heard of their line “A New Day?” It is probably the cutest clothing line I’ve seen in Target in awhile. From comfy sweaters to soft winter accessories to the best sweatshirt tunic I’ve ever bought, so many great items for fall. Go check it out!
Since I don’t have a proper photo of it to post… I’ll leave you with an excited Annabelle that its Halloween month.

Literally wearing that tunic as I read this haha! It’s THE BEST!!
I’ve seen so many people rag on the A New Day line and I just don’t get it! I think it’s awesome!
