Last month we took Annabelle to the beach for the first time! We went to Destin, Florida, a place that holds a special place in our heartsย since it is where we were married on October 17, 2009.ย We stayed at B’s grandparent’s condo right on the beach, which made it very easy for us to go in and out with the baby. She enjoyed the sounds of the ocean, but the sand and water weren’t really on her list of likes. Every time we took her out to the beach she got sleepy…or cranky… unless we walked her along the water. I hope when we go to Cape Cod in July things will be a little different for I know her cousins will want to play with her in the sand…
