I almost made it through the week sleeping a full 7 hours without any interruptions from nightmares (or the elephant upstairs stomping around) while Mr. Bear is gone.
I had the scariest dream last night – a man was on a shooting rampage in the town and he was looking for me. I couldn’t hide and right before I woke up he was in my building yelling for me. I woke up in my room alone and terrified.
THEN around 2am the guy upstairs started stomping around, so I woke up thinking someone was kicking in my apartment door. THANK GOODNESS I am going to CT to visit my family tomorrow night!
ON A BRIGHTER NOTE:
It’s Friday. I am going to finally meet up with my fellow new teacher friends after work at happy hour today! Also, I picked up some great organizational items for my classroom at Walmart last night – compliments of my incredible friend who started The Hungry Southerner!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!
This week I discovered the identity of our “phantom pee pee pants” in my classroom. Yes, I have a little someone who can make ginormous lakes of pee on the floor without showing any evidence of peepee on their pants. Quite a feat I imagine. Let’s just say I sent home a note to his momma without confronting him in hopes she sends some extra clothing for him today.
P.S. Bet you didn’t know there are only 14 days til my birthday!!! Not looking forward to 25 – so I am going to call it the one year anniversary of my 24th =0)

So sorry you didn’t sleep well last night, nightmares are the worst! The “phantom pee pee pants” story is so funny. That’s so sweet of you to share the information with his mom instead of confronting the poor kid!

I don’t know what I’ll do when Russ isn’t home for the night. I am the BIGGEST scardey cat around! I’m glad you’re going home for the weekend!
Oh, and the phantom pee pee?? That’s really, really weird. How is that even possible?!

I totally hate when my boyfriend is away. I too, can NEVER get a great nights sleep. So happy to hear you were able to get a little shut eye.
YAY for school! Hope teaching is going well!
