This is 30 plus one and truly one of the best birthdays EVER!

Thank you to everyone who made my 30 plus one birthday so incredible. From my husband kicking off birthday weekend early, to my family in CT sending goodies in the mail. Plus my friends driving up to my neck of the woods for Bloody Marys – I felt very loved.

My husband blew me away last Thursday with an amazing surprise and continued to make me feel oh-so-special every day after. Friday night we went out for a delicious dinner at Pricci. Then we met up with some friends for drinks at Southern Gentleman. I actually felt like a grown up (and not just Mom) for the first time in awhile. We stayed out until after midnight! My wonderful in-laws drove in from Tennessee to stay with the girls so we were able to have a little adult fun.

Birthday Brunch at Bantam and Biddy

Saturday was the actual anniversary of my birth. The celebration continued at Avalon for brunch and drinks with my in-laws and friends. We headed home to have a Tennessee Volunteer football party. One of the most awesome parts of my birthday: TENNESSEE BEAT FLORIDA! The last time the Vols beat the Gators was in 2004. I was at the game, my very first TN game, so this football win has been a long time coming.
