Last week one of my best friends told me she wants to live in my garden… literally live in my garden. She wants to move from Connecticut to Maryland and pitch a tent in my front yarden.

(For the record, I think break-up is for the best…because Kara needs to think about herself for once. And the guy she was with is a dummy, who I can’t speak bad about publicly b/c Mr. Bear is still his friend and will read my blog and get mad at me for trash talkin’.)
Kara and I met in September 2005 during our junior year at the University of Tennessee. I am so thankful that Kara messaged me on Facebook one night… telling me her mom told her she should introduce herself to me because we were both new/transfer students to UT. I messaged her back and found out that she lived one floor below me in our dumpy on campus apartment/dorm building. My roommate (KT, the one in the middle above, who was and still is awesome) and I ran downstairs to her a few minutes later. We found Kara hiding from her weird roommate and drinking box wine in her room.
2006… like our costumes?? Skanks…
Lookie who baked me a confetti cake for my 21st bday?!
We spent many hours watching seasons of SATC and Grey’s Anatomy on our comfy futon together in that apartment. We shared many things during college – clothes, shoes, food….laughs, tears, nasty words. We both LOVED to go to cycling together and cardio booty bootcamp.

Kara loved cleaning our apartment, and I enjoyed drawing pictures on our whiteboard.

We had our ups and downs… both of us being ladies who likes to speak their minds. There was even a time when Mr. Bear and Kara hated each other – because Kara always took my side in a fight and would tell Mr. Bear when he was WRONG. She is awesomeness.
Right before we crashed a wedding
Kara is pretty effin spectacular. I kind of want her to come live in my yarden. I offered up our bed-less guest room, but I think she prefers the flowerbed.
The last time I saw Kara… January 2011… I miss her!
I hope my readers enjoyed my post… sometimes you just gotta show some love for your friends in blogland!
And Kara…Hope this makes you smile =0)
