I decided to play along with Fabulous but Evil and Mrs. Monologues today with this “True Life: I’m a ___ blogger!” theme. To fill in the blank…well, that is a bit tricky.
I don’t know what to call myself – I was once a Bride-to-Be-Blogger, then I was a Newlywed-Blogger, and now I am just a Christmas Obsessed – First Grade Teacher-Who Likes to Cook, Dance, Laugh – Married to a Mr. Bear and part of the most awesome family ever – Blogger. Yah that’s a mouthful…but it sums up who I am. And what I blog about.
My bear-y happy (mostly happy) thoughts are about everything from food, to my life, to the imaginary gnome that has been stealing things from my house and hiding them in some unknown place. I like to blog because it is a release – I can get some stuff off my mind that would otherwise send my husband straight into his man cave if it started coming out of my mouth.
I am not organized, I am not consistent with topics, and sometimes people call me whiny. HOWEVER, I do have some great dedicated followers and people that tell me in person how much they like my blog, so the haters can go sit on a thorn bush.
To me – sometimes knowing someone out there is feeling the same way I am about something is very comforting. I find lots of advice on my blog – sometimes it is not too nice advice, but with every basket of apples from the farm, there is going to be a rotton stinker or two in there (great analogy huh?).
I hope that you look back through my blog, and that you read the posts underneath my header. Then maybe check out the posts on my right hand side – there are some popular ones, and then just the archives of every post I have written since November 2008 when I started to blog.
In other news… look who came back to play with me:
My Nikon!!! She is all better now – her flash is working and her battery cover is no longer broken. I am so excited she has arrived JUST IN TIME for our family vacation to Cape Cod. Yippee!
So glad you got your camera back just in time! Can’t wait to see the photos!
“Newlywed-Blogger, and now I am just a Christmas Obsessed – First Grade Teacher-Who Likes to Cook, Dance, Laugh – Married to a…”
