…watching Julie & Julia.

I know it’s been out for awhile, but I just finished the book. I refused to watch the movie until I read the story by Julie Powell. I found the book to be super duper inspirational (since she basically lives out a dream that I secretly have) and beyond hilarious. I loved it!
Mrs. Julie Powell … you are AWESOME! And I wish we were bestest friends.
It’s my last night alone *thank goodness* …and I figure I gots to watch my girly movie I borrowed from the library before Mr. Bear comes home and distracts me with his handsome humorous sexy self. I also ate my favorite-but-incredibly-embarrassing-dinner one last time: Wasa 7 Grain Crackers shmeared with….wait for it…Brumble & Brown Yogurt Butter, Organic Chocolate Hazlenut Butter, and Almond Butter.
I know it’s gluttonous – considering I use three different kinds of butter – but it is what Bear Wives do when the Bear Husbands are away. Plus, I had overdone it with the Reese’s Eggs by Monday. Their crunchy shell and peanut buttery smooth center just wasn’t curing my pms-y sweet tooth and if I didn’t have someone for that there would be some serious problems. (Now don’t fret my pastel covered pets, I will be back in a couple of months to eat you again. The freezer is a lovely place to wait for me in the meantime).
Hope you are all as jazzed about tomorrow being FRIDAY as I am. Plus… I am going to tell you all about my incredibly talented gorgeous brilliant friend and how she can change your life from boring to beautiful =) ***
The movie is going to make you want to cook now! =)
I hope you enjoy it!
Have fun with your hubby this weekend. =)
Oh the movie is awesome! I got it for my Mom for Christmas and it was great!
YAY for the last night! You’re almost there! π
ooooo tomorrow sounds like a perfect way to start the weekend! Can’t wait to see what you have planned!
Glad you enjoyed the book! The movie is a bit different but I hope you enjoy it!
I enjoy the movie! It’s so cute and I think even better than the book. You’ll totally love it. On a sad note, I was so disappointed when I read Julie Powell’s second book, Cleaving. Most of it is about her cheating on her husband! There were only a few recipes. π
Ooooh…I am totally the same! If I haven’t read the book, I REFUSE to see the movie!
It’s FRIIIIIDDDDDAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY and Mr. Bear is coming home!! WOOOHOOO!
Have a great weekend with your love. And those Wasa crackers? They sound freaking fantastic. I think you are bad influence on me though – seriously… Marshmallow fluff with peanut butter and jam, now Reese’s and THEN all that buttery goodness? Geez!
Happy Friday my friend!
i haven’t seen that yet! but i totally want to! π i hope you enjoyed your girly time and girly movie, i’m sure you’re happy to have mr. bear back today π
you cute bears have a GREAT weekend!!!
