My Aunt and MIL showed me last year how to transform my spring mantle decor into fall with just a few leaves and pumpkins. I love that I don’t have to buy a whole new mantle piece! The leaf garland was an awesome find at Target in the dollar section – it was only $3!
The centerpiece on my dining room table was also easy to assemble – I keep the lantern and candle on the table year round. I placed a pre-made fall wreath around the lantern and then filled the lantern with tiny gold acorns from Home Goods.
The can inside my lantern is from Kirklands (similar) and it is filled with tiny white artificial flowers. I added stems of artificial fall flowers and different leaves that I used last year as well.
My front porch isn’t quite complete – but the wreath is handmade! My friend Kim and I worked on them Saturday. She found all of our supplies at Michaels and we used a tutorial from Pinterest. The adorable H flag is from Kirklands!

I am dying to get my fall decor out even though I know it’s just as hot here as it still is there. My hubby put it all in storage with the Christmas decorations in the storage space under the stairs, which involves climbing through the closet and using a drill to open the storage space. (I think he just didn’t want me to decorate!)
