Today I’m sharing my summer favorites in the fourth edition of What I’m Loving Lately for 2019. I’m always shocked at the start of a new month, but can happily say July did not go by quickly. Here’s to hoping we take August as slow as possible since Annabelle started Kindergarten at the end. From beauty products to summer parties, here is what I’m loving lately.
These summer favorites are what I am loving lately for my hair and skin.
1. Living Proof is my go-to brand for hair products and they kindly sent over a box of goodies to try out. I use Perfecting Spray right after the shower at night and wake up with my curls looking less frizzy than usual. The Flex Hairspray is amazing when I’m using the curling wand, but want a more natural look. Bonus: it has a heat protective element!
2. Elemis is another brand who kindly sent me goodies after I coincidentally tried their products on our Disney Cruise. I’m a huge fan of Elemis since their products are sourced from nature (think PLANTS) and don’t irritate my sensitive skin.
3. Lancome Mascara is the only brand that doesn’t clump my eyelashes while giving the impression they’re full and long. I picked up a kit during the Nordstrom sale, but have linked my two go-to mascaras here.
I have to give a special shout out to Tula for sending over these products to try – the Purifying Cleanser smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling fresh. The Sugar Scrub is a natural exfoliant I’ve been using twice a week to leave my skin feeling smooth and bright.
Celebrating Connecticut at a Summer Soiree
This week I attended a summer soiree hosted by my friends, Helen and Faith, at a gorgeous home in Darien. From the TipSea Trailer to the most delicious Seafood Platter EVER, I had an amazing time. It was so fun to meet a lot of the CT gals I chat with daily, but have yet to hug in real life. This party will go down as one of my summer favorites.
Loving Lately: Dudley Stephens JOGGERS
As you all know I’m a HUGE Dudley Stephens fan, so you bet I grabbed a pair of their new joggers during the drop this week. They’re super soft, comfy, but I should have stuck to my normal size. Do NOT size up if you’re on the short side, haha.
