**DISCLAIMER: Garnier has no clue who I am, nor do they know I wrote this blog post. I did it all on my own, for free, just because I love my green friend**
I am fortunate to say that I have never really had bad skin problems (knock on wood). Sometimes I’ll get pimples, but never so many that I can’t kick them off my face with some medicated cream.
This winter has been different. As soon as it started to get cold, I developed this weird bumpy rash around my mouth. From a distance, it just looked like I had windburn. Up close, it was dry, cracked, flaky skin. Yucky and painful.
I tried to load up on my moisturizer, but nothing prevailed. I tried to use vaseline, but that only gave me a few clogged pores. I didn’t want to go to a dermatologist or spend a ton of money at a department store on a treatment. So I walked around with this weirdness for a week or so, until I couldn’t stand how it felt when I smiled anymore (tight and uncomfortable).
I ponied up and went on a hunt for something over the counter to fix my problem.
This is where I found my new friend: Garnier Brusher-Gel Cleanser. In ONE DAY my funky rash was gone and my skin was glowing. It smells tasty, the brush is so soft, and the cleanser is easy to use! It definitely scrubbed away the funk, and left me skin smooth as a baby’s bottom.
(To be fair, I used their Radiance Moisture Cream alongside the Cleanser to help the baby butt smoothness)
Honestly, though, who would’ve thought Garnier, the place I turn to for yummy smelling curling gel, would be the answer to my dry skin prayers??
I think the website does a better job of describing my green friend:
The Brusher Gel-Cleanser is a breakthrough daily cleanser: an innovative, gentle soft-brush works with a nutrient-rich, non drying cleansing gel to deeply clean and gently exfoliate, leaving skin free of all impurities. Pores are refined, skin is 2x smoother* and more radiant.
How do I use it?
Take off cap. Twist brush counterclockwise to open. Squeeze bottle to release gel. Twist brush to close. Hold brush under running water. Gently massage onto face in circular motions, excluding the eye area. Rinse face with water. Rinse brush and store with cap on. Gentle enough for daily use.
What kind of daily skin treatments do
you use on your face?

So interesting! I’ll tell my daughter about it! She is allergic to most shampoos… All the sensitive skin ones seem to have stopped production – probably too expensive to make. Thanks for this!

PS You should get a least a nod from Garnier!

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve been using the L’Oreal Go 360 cleanser with the little scrubby brush. It’s worked fabulously for the past couple of months and now all of a sudden, I’m a walking zit…13 year old style. It’s so embarassing. A change is much needed!
