I thought it would be fun to introduce you to my family. My husband, siblings, and parents are the people most important to me in my life. My family is the reason I get through tough times and the people who I share everything with.
Each one of my family members deserves their own blog post, but I’m going to throw them all to you at once. We have my brother and his family (my sister in law and two nephews) on the right, my parents in the middle, my sisters with the sunglasses, and me on the right end. Notice my husband isn’t in the photo – he had to leave Cape Cod early for work.
My siblings and I are very close despite our age difference. My brother is 12 years my senior and 15 years older than my sister. When he married his wife in 2000, I gained another sister who I consider one of my best friends. My brother and sister-in-law are so important to me as I turn to them for advice on life choices and always have fun with them when we are together. I am two years eight months older than my sister, and despite the few years we weren’t fond of one another, now we are the best of friends.
I am pretty lucky to have not only the people in these pictures, but a whole slew of other family members – cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents – that make my world go round. I grew up with family at the center of it all and most important aspect of my life. I don’t know what I would do without each and every one of my family members, and I thank them always for their love and support.
Girl that’s a long line of good genes you come from. I bet you mom and dad were something in their days. They still look like they could be your older brother and sister. I look forward to hearing more about them.
Great picture! We rent a house on Cape Cod every summer, best family vacation!!
