I told my students that Santa and I are BFF.
Not only is he always watching, but I have his head Elf on speed dial. My brilliant idea totally works – and my kiddos aren’t running around the classroom like mad in lieu of the almost here bestest day of the year.
Last week it snowed for the first time during the school day and I went crazy. If you don’t know by now… snow comes in 2nd place for things that make me giddy (Xmas is first). The kiddies and I danced and tra-la-la-d all over the classroom, turned out the lights, listened to Christmas jams, and made decorations for the door decorating contest in the school. I also might have shown them my “Let it Snow” dance that totally works (I mean we got a blizzard here in MD last Feb and all).

I flew in/out of Maryland this weekend and just missed the snow. Glad to hear you had a good time!

Can you PLEASE teach me your dance?! Pittsburgh’s gotten 1-2 inches but nothing amazing – yet! Maybe with the help of your dance…
