What am I currently doing? Pulling out an old blogging trend of sharing everything I’m Currently Doing to give you a peek at life halfway through April 2025.
What am I Currently Doing in April 2025?
Currently planning… five days on the Cape during the Spring… with many places still closed for the off season and chilly rain in the forecast. Packing for this type of weather isn’t easy, especially when space is limited in our car because we are bringing my Mom and Mother-in-Law.
Currently loving… the hot shot onesie from Free People (finally pulled the plug on this jumpsuit I always want to steal from my sister – and also discovered limited colors on sale for $55!). I am also hopefully loving everything I ordered from Aerie. It’s been awhile since I bought more than just one thing from a store online, but after my closet purge last month I am lacking in the wardrobe department. They’re having super discounts in the App so I couldn’t resist. I only snagged a skirt + matching top and patterned pants, but my oldest has three dresses on the way that I may be able to wear too.
Currently not believing… I finally cleaned out and donated the giant art cart. It was broken and filled with random junk… so I bought a much smaller and cuter art cart to actually store art supplies.
Currently relieved about… my body. Last month my body felt like it was failing me. All the unknown wakes up the health anxiety monster living deep down inside. It turns out I had a stomach virus, needed more water, and my ADHD medication was wreaking havoc on my mind/body/soul. I am relieved that it was nothing difficult to fix!
Currently proud… of myself for not only having a skin cancer full body scan, but also going to my annual mammogram. I almost rescheduled because I was nervous but am proud I set those fears aside.
Currently stressing over… Easter? We are going on a fun trip to Cape Cod on Sunday and I have to make sure the Easter Bunny knows what to put in the baskets while we are gone.
Currently making… Sweet Bear Coffee! We are BIG fans of this Mom founded fair trade organic coffee brand. Read more about the story behind it all…
The Sweet Bear Coffee Co. was founded by Connecticut Mom, Cristina Savin. In 2021, her one-year-old son, nicknamed Bear, was diagnosed with an incredibly rare genetic disorder. Fueled by determination, love, and countless cups of coffee, Cristina spent the next three years diving deep into research and seeking out the best medical care possible. Through every sleepless night and challenging moment, her mission remained clear: to give Bear the best life imaginable.
Out of this journey, Sweet Bear Coffee Company was born—a tribute to Bear’s strength and the nickname that captured his spirit. More than just a coffee brand, Sweet Bear Coffee is a heartfelt mission to uplift and support the disability community. With purpose at its core, the company donates 25% of its profits to organizations dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities.
Currently not missing… television. I gave up my screen time addiction for Lent and cannot believe how much I can get done (especially reading) when I am not camped out in front of the television.
Love this post!!
