Are you looking for transitional fall outfits September? This post features fall outfits from a style session with classic items from my closet. This post contains affiliate links.
This September I am wearing a lot of skirts and lightweight tops that can be layered with a sweater blazer if temperatures drop. My personal style is classic mixed with a little bit of trendy. Enjoy a few of my recent fall outfits!
The Denim Skirt
I never thought I’d wear a jean skirt again after college, but here I stand in a button front denim skirt. This piece is one of the most versatile in my closet for fall and can be worn so many ways.

The Corduroy Skirt
Regardless of the style, corduroy always reminds me of fall. I picked up this green corduroy skirt for less than $40 a few weeks ago because it can be incorporated into many fall outfits.

The Sweater Blazer (a staple for all fall outfits)
The sweater blazer is a staple in my closet for every season. There are so many ways to style a sweater blazer, but I love it most for layering during the cooler months.

A Casual Pick-Up-The-Kids Outfit
Last but not least is an easy outfit to put on to go pick up the kids at school. I had to run out to grab my daughters during this style session and just threw on a pair of joggers (not sold online).

Next week I’ll put together another style session with fall outfits. I am excited to share a few other fall staples for your wardrobe too!

Is it weird that my favorite outfit here is the joggers look? 🙂 I would wear that all day, every day, lol. And I think I need a tan colored sweater blazer in my life.

I caved and bought the sweater blazer when it was 40% off, and hopefully it would turn out to be a good decision! I’m happy it’s still mostly too warm for me to want to pull it out though!

Love the sweater blazers! What a classic, but updated look. You looked great with it paired with jeggings or your denim skirt. It makes cooler weather fun!
