Easy Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large can can plum tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic crushed
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 tbsps oregano
  • 2 tbsps basil
  • 2 tbsps basil
  • salt & pepper
  • parmasean cheese

Equipment

  • Dutch Oven
  • large sauce pan

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a dutch oven or large saucepan.
  2. Add garlic and diced onions. When translucent, add can of tomatoes.
  3. Use a wooden spoon to break up the tomatoes
  4. Season with spices
  5. Cook for 45 minutes, stirring frequently
  6. Serve over pasta
