2016 ✨What a year! ✨I'll never forget the first day of 2016 we didn't know if my pregnancy would last - it was a terrifying time - but by the second week we had a strong heartbeat and 8 months later Ailey would join our family! 2016 was my last run as a teacher and when I started using a real camera for my blog. It was the year we became parents of TWO at the end of the hottest Georgia summer and quickly learned what true chaos feels like. We spent a lot of time visiting with friends in Georgia or flying to Connecticut to see my family (which would lead to our move north the following year). It was a pivotal year for the Houstons - and it's hard to believe it was so long ago ✨
