Spicy Turkey Burger with Cilantro Parsley Pesto

Ingredients
  

Turkey Burger
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
Cilantro Parsley Pesto
  • ½ cup italian parsley
  • ½ cup silantro leaves
  • 4 oz pine nuts
  • ½ cup olive oil extra if it's dry
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp crazy salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic salt

Equipment

  • non-stick skillet

Method
 

Burger
  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and mix it up with your clean hands.
  2. Form into 3-4 patties.
  3. Cook on a grill or in a non-stick skillet, and top with cheddar cheese.
Pesto
  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor.
  2. Add more olive oil if it's too dry.
  3. Top your burger with the pesto OR use the pesto as a spread on the buns.
