Broccoli Shrimp Pizza

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package pizza dough
  • all purpose flower
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 12-15 prawns fresh or thawed use 12 if they're big, 15 if they're small. Peeled and devained.
  • 1 cup black olives
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • ¼ cup diced onion optional
  • 2 cups shredded mozzerella
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Over a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough to fit your pizza stone. I made my own dough using a quick rising pizza crust yeast and then used my hands to shape the dough to fit my pizza stone. Fold the edges of your dough up to make a crust. Brush the dough with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. 
  2. Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a skillet over low heat. Add the onions and broccoli. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes and transfer the broccoli and onions to a plate to cool.
  3.  In the same skillet, add another 1 1/2 tablespoons of butter flavored olive oil. Add the minced garlic and shrimp. Season with salt and pepper. Cook the shrimp over medium-low heat until they are pink (5-7 minutes). Be careful not to overcook your shrimp, for they will cook in the oven! 
  4.  Pre-bake your pizza crust for 6-8 minutes, or until the dough is firm to the touch.  
  5. Remove the pizza crust from the oven and immediately top with the broccoli and the shrimp. Sprinkle a layer of cheese over the ingredients and bake for another 6-8 minutes.  
  6. Add your remaining cheese and the olives to the pizza and bake until bubbly. I baked mine for 5 minutes! Remove your pizza and allow it to cool before slicing!
