Words are not enough to express the unconditional love that exists between a mother and a daughter. Annabelle is a priceless treasure whom I’ve loved since the day I found out she was in my belly. I know as she gets older, her feelings towards me may change from time to time. She may even tell me she hates me one day. However, I know our bond is so strong that those will just be words and not actual feelings. Annabelle is my everything and as long as I’m living, my baby she’ll be.
I try to cherish and savor all of the moments we have together – whether its blowing bubbles in the driveway or looking for birds in the backyard, each second spent with Annabelle is the best. Lately I become sad to think these little activities won’t occupy her growing imagination forever, but for now – I soak it all up. I take a mental snapshot and store it away for the days when she is grown and no longer interested in playing with Mommy.
