two. unique engagement rings
In case you missed it, Tine got engaged last weekend! Her fiance did an incredible job designing her ring. The ring is white and yellow gold. The center diamond is a round cut estate diamond set in a halo on top of braided shoulders. Tine is my sister’s best friend whose Mother passed away when she was in middle school. Tine stayed with us before/after her Mom’s passing, and we took her and her Father into our family. Her Dad is like an Uncle to me and Tine has always been my other sister AND best friend. My heart is exploding with joy for her and Dean!
three. timehop
I am sure by now everyone has, or knows about, Timehop. Sometimes the stuff on there is a bit boring – but lately it’s been making me tear up! With Annabelle’s 1 year birthday quickly approaching, all of the pregnancy photos are getting to me. Last year my beautiful friend Lisette from La La Lisette took my maternity photos during her visit. I’ve been seeing them pop up on my Timehop for a few days now and it just brings me back to that time of anxiety, excitement, and preparation – all in the honor of Annabelle!
four. snuggles.
I haven’t been feeling well lately and it’s like my little girl knows… she has been extra cuddly and snuggly, which is just what the doctor ordered! Someday she will be too big and busy to curl up in my arms like this, so I have to cherish every time she wants to snooze in the crook of my arm.
five. secrets of teachers.
I hate to say this… but the majority of these “secrets” are not really secrets. Any teacher will tell you that they can relate to any/all of these hilarious truths.
1. You totally have favorites – TRUTH.
4. You are just as scared as students when you’re called to the principal’s office – TRUTH.
8. Movie days are for the days you just don’t want to teach (or you had a late night out) – TRUTH.

I wish my girl would snuggle up like that. SHe is way too busy. My 3 year old boy however has come back around and loves to “cuddle wif momma.” It’s the best ever!
Oh those reusable snack bags look awesome! And I am SO with you on the Timehop thing. Making me feel super nostalgic when I was pregnant with Avery. This past week I had one from a year ago the day after we found out we were having a girl, I had picked up two little newborn outfits from Target. And now she’s almost 7 months old – it’s just insane!
Agree with the teacher truths. I also really love cuddle time! My son is 4 months old and has started to explore the world, so he doesn’t really like to cuddle much anymore, unless he is tired or it’s in the morning. I love those times.
