Dr. Brown’s Gia Angled Breastfeeding Pillow has been my saving grace. It is oversized and soft, but firm enough to support my arm that’s holding the little one. It’s hard to hold a 7lb baby in the crook of your arm (and will only get harder as she grows). The Gia Pillow makes nursing so much easier. I now can nurse my little girl all over the house in comfort.
The Gia is much wider than the other nursing pillows you can find in stores and online. My little one fits perfectly on the pillow with lots of room to spare. If I need to readjust during a feeding, she never falls off. The Gia gives baby lots of room to grow!
During the first week that I started using the Gia, my little one had an accident on the pillow. Thankfully my pillow has an adorable pink cover on it. I tossed the cover in the wash and it was as good as new. If I didn’t have a cover on the pillow, I could have washed the Gia as well, for it is machine washable and will retains its shape!
A bonus: The Gia Pillow is an amazing support for my back. I’ve been propping myself up on the pillow when the baby naps on my chest. She has acid reflux and sleeping upright helps. However, my regular bed pillows are not sturdy enough for me to sleep upright as well. The Gia pillow makes it possible for little A and I to nap together now. Since my little one loves to be held, I usually end up with a back ache by the end of the day. The Gia Pillow is so comfortable, it has become my go-to sleepy time pillow for those few hours that I get to rest my eyes.
The Gia Pillow is fantastic for non-breastfeeding Moms as well. Annabelle recently started tummy time and prefers to relax on the Gia Pillow instead of the floor!

You seem comfortable using the pillow while nursing her baby. In the past, I used a pillow just for baby. However, my hands are not resting on the pillow. Instead, my hands propping pillows and baby. Pillow that you show is very interesting. At the birth of the second child, I wanted to get a pillow as you described.
