Think Happy Thoughts

I confess… yesterday was Fat Tuesday, so I ate six Reese’s and two chicken burritos for dinner.

I confess… after my appalling dinner, I dragged my guilty ass to Zumba.

I confess… I’m starting to hate Maryland for a number of reasons…#1 Shitty Winters.

I confess… I eat 2 Gummy Prenatal vitamins every morning. Not because I am pregnant, but because they taste like Sour Gummy Bears!

I confess… I want to buy some clothes for my trip to Norway, but I just had to spend $600 on new brakes and $400 on a new starter for my car. Stupid car ruining my shopping…

I confess… I gave up candy for Lent because it has recently become an addiction.

I confess… I think I have found my new blog name! I am going to be buying my domain and getting a blog makeover very soon. Stay tuned…

On the way to work today I thought about giving up candy for lent, but then I would be miserable. So maybe something else!!

Confessions

It’s that time of the week again! Confession time! Last week I had FOUR participants and a bunch of comments. I am hoping for even more this week! 

I confess… I am addicted to seafood salad from Giant. Even though it makes me sick b/c of all the mayo, I can’t stop eating it!!! Mmmmm…so fattening and so delicious…mmmmm.

I confess… there are some blogs I don’t follow anymore because they act like there lives are wayyyyy too perfect. And NO ONE’s life is perfect. So stop pretending.

I confess… I watched 10 episodes of “Heroes” yesterday when I got home from the doctors. I only got out of bed to go to the bathroom and refill my Gatorade cup. I plan on watching at least 20 more today while I am home sick.

I confess… I am sick with some sort of plague. And I don’t mind being home sick – missing days at school. Because I already had my formal observation and I killed it. While I was sick. So yah, I can sit at home and be sick and not feel bad. 


Now some confessions from my friends and family:

Mcmuffin’s confession of the week:
I confess… that I tried to eat your United Colors of Benetton purse because you bought me some kind of crap food again. How come Dad knows I only like Whiskas Filet Mignon Pate and you dont? Stop buying me the cheap shit.

N’s confession:
I confess…I pretend like I am upset when my husband has to work on Saturdays but I really like it because I can finally get stuff done by myself.

Jesse’s confession:
I confess…I prefer to pick my nose rather than use a tissue, unless it is liquidity clogged. I do not eat it though. And then I wash my hands.

    One time I made a lasagna with cheese I knew was a little moldy but made it anyway and brought it to a friends house. They were ordering pizza so I thought they would just eat their pizza but instead they tried my lasagna which totally tasted like mildew. They politely ate it and I still 10 years later have never told them the moldy truth.

Confessions

I am thinking I am going to add “Confessions” as part of my weekly blogging regimen. Perhaps I will do it every Hump Day? I know I did a confessional a few weeks ago – so let me state that these aren’t always going to be deep and bare-into-my-soul confessions. I just think it will be fun to tell the truth about some things I have done or thought once a week.

These are my confessions…

1. I confess….I have forgotten to wear deoderant to school 3 times since the school year started. I also realize I haven’t put it on yet this morning. What the hell is wrong with me?!

2. I confess…I have been eating a healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner since school started a week and a half ago…but for some reason, when I walk in the door after school, it has become a free-for-all in the kitchen, and I usually shove whatever disgusting thing I can find in my mouth. Yesterday it was potato chips and onion dip. ……. I NEVER eat potato chips. Or onion dip. Why are they even in my house???

4. I confess….I bought potato chips and onion dip last Friday after school because I was starving and craving something gross.

4. I confess…I did not go to the gym once last week. I told myself I was not going because I was “too tired” but the truth is that I was being lazy.

5. I confess…when it is humid outside, I HATE my hair. I hate it so much I want to wear my hair in a bun. However, I know I look horrible with wet hair in a bun, and I am too self-conscious to let my ears stick out like that in public, so I wear my hair curly anyways, and look like I have been electrocuted.

6. I confess…having five new people comment on my blog yesterday did wonders for my self esteem. Thank you SO much: Veronica and Daniel, Jen, Cait, Kelly, and Kathyrn!! I hope you come back soon!

    omg I am guilty of so many of these this past week too!! I think it’s because school has started. a. I don’t eat much at lunch and come home STARVING and tired so I grab for whatever is easy and greasy (yes, I had those same chips for an afternoon snack too!) b. the humidity at school is disgusting and my hair goes crazy c. I’ve been so tired from school that I haven’t worked out…. see it all relates to school. Being back is hard. hehehe

    I do the same thing after work!! I swear there is something about coming home after a long day that makes me want to stuff my face with gross food and I’ve been bad about the gym all summer long! I’m hoping fall will kick me into gear.

    Mmm Potato Chips and Onion Dip…

    I confess, I dont do it often, but sometimes during lunch, I run to Target and buy tortilla chips and queso and eat that. Then I feel disgusting, and dont do it again for another 6 months.

    I confess: I hate my hair right now too. My hair is curly similar to yours but has been shorter for some time making it afro out. Growing my hair and bangs out has been such a challenge
