Today I am 15 weeks pregnant. Check out my 15 week bump update during my second pregnancy. Enjoy!
How far along: 15 weeks 4 days
Gender: PINK PINK PINK! It’s a Girl!!!! (Read about our gender reveal here).
Baby Size: A beefsteak tomato.
Total weight gain: Not sure, guessing 2lbs. I won’t know until next week!
Clothes: I caved and bought a few pairs of maternity pants this weekend from Pea in a Pod and Old Navy. Thank you Rachel Zoe for having adorable work pants on sale!
Sleep: Things haven’t changed much – I’m still asleep by 9 (latest) and awake at 5. With a few potty breaks in the middle of the night. Currently, I’m on a hunt for a new pregnancy pillow to put between my legs at night!
Cravings/Aversions: Italian is a constant craving. Brandon and I went to Osteria Mattone in Roswell Saturday night and their lasagna was to die for! Sweets – fresh fruit, candies, waffles, pancakes, peanut butter and jelly, the list goes on! OH I found my Girl Scout cookies Sunday and I am making the two boxes I bought last awhile. Yucky seafood – There were a few fish apps/main dishes that gave me the mouth sweats,so seafood is definitely still an aversion.
Symptoms
It might be TMI but… gas. Oh the gas pains I get in the evenings are going to be my demise. They are neither worse nor better depending on what I eat. Just good ole bloated sharp pains. I roll around and twist myself into Yoga moves, but nothing helps. Swollen bleeding gums. Every time I brush my teeth its a disaster. Sinus Issues – Still coughing from post nasal drip. Apparently the allergies here in Georgia are going to be b-a-d this spring. Forgetfulness – I couldn’t find my car in the Target parking lot yesterday. I barely remembered driving in…
What’s a weekly bump update without a photo from the bathroom at school?
Exercise: I would love to go to Flywheel more than once a week but I can’t win. We just don’t have schedules that allow for me to go to a morning or night class more than once a week. Plus, Annabelle has the flu now so this whole week is ruined.
Mood: A little anxious. We don’t have another ultrasound until probably April, so of course I am scared something is secretly wrong.
Loving: I found a hilarious website Alpha Mom which chronicles your Pregnancy Week by Week that rivals What to Expect. This week: baby can sense changes in light “so if you want to get a jump start on annoying the crap out of your kid, shine a flashlight on your stomach or chase it around with the doppler wand every night.” Hah!
Best Moment this week: Telling our families and friends we are having a GIRL!
Looking forward to: Shopping for newborn GIRL summer clothes. I am sure the little princess will be in the least amount of clothes possible since she is due mid August in Georgia where it doesn’t get cool until October. Planning Annabelle’s big girl room. Ballerina themed!! Finally feeling a flutter or two?
Check out: Week 15 with Annabelle June 2013. I’m definitely looking bigger (a little faster) this time around. I’m sure a lot of it has to do with the fact that I am constantly bloated because I weigh less than I did with her. I’m also in smaller clothing.

Congrats on girl #2! Polar opposite from my house, we are all blue over here 🙂 Your little bump is so so cute. And I dealt with the horrible gas pains early on too, but they resolved and were much better once I got closer to 20 weeks or so, fingers crossed it clears up for you!

I’ve only had one child, but my sinuses were TERRIBLE during the 2nd semester (given, it was also winter during that time…)
